your knowledge and expertise! Job Summary and Qualifications We are
seeking a Special Procedures Tech on a full-time basis. As our
Special Procedures Technologist, you will operate medical
diagnostic imaging equipment and assist in imaging procedures such
as angiography and cardiac catheterization (CC), as well as those
performed in the Interventional Radiology Lab (scrubbing,
circulating, and recording/monitoring patient status). We
prioritize patient care. If you are dedicated to caring for the

Responsibilities may include:
- You will demonstrate accountability and responsibility and
performs procedures and care in a caring, compassionate, and
respectful manner.
- You will prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe,
competent manner in accordance with established operating
procedures.
- You will perform technical radiographic procedures in
accordance with established operating procedures and routines
accurately and in a timely manner.
- You will assist in administration of contrast media in
accordance with departmental policy and procedure.
- You will obtain high quality radiographic images; reviews
quality of radiographs to insure quality standards have been
met.
- You will obtain and document all pertinent patient information
prior to exam, i.e., patient history, pregnancy, allergies and
obtains informed consent in accordance with departmental policy and
procedure.
- You will maintain effective communication with patient;
provides explanation of procedures within scope of practice.
- You will maintain proactive and effective communication with
radiologists.
- You will be responsible for rotating call will be
assigned.Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
- Current ARRT credential; RCIS credential also considered in
conjunction with minimum Interventional Radiology (IR)
experience
- Minimum of two (2) years licensed experience in Radiology to
include at least one (1) year of IR experience
- Angio, Peripheral and Neuro experience a plus.
- BLS required and ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
