Job Description:

We are currently seeking a PT Psychiatrist for one of our locations in the Clearwater area. This position is part time working 20 hours per week.

Job Duties:

Evaluates the mental health status of patients upon referral, evaluates patients on or for psychotropic medications and conducts periodic reviews, reviews health records, diagnostic testing, etc., and makes necessary adjustments to treatment as indicated, documents all healthcare encounters in a clear and concise manner into the EMR, Assist in training of personnel as requested, participates in the development and evaluation of mental health policies and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Ability to diagnose and treat patients with mental, emotional and behavioral disorders, ability to organize data concerning the patient, ability to determine nature and extent of mental disorder and formulate a treatment program.

Requirements:

Doctoral Degree (MD or DO)

Minimum of 3 years experience in psychiatry
