We are currently searching for a Quality Assurance Supervisor in our Distribution Center located in Largo, FL. The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for leading a team to operate efficiently as a cohesive unit. In the capacity of coaching, mentoring, and guiding team members, the Supervisor will oversee the preparation of customer orders for loading onto delivery trucks.
The primary objective of this role is to eliminate all preventable errors, ensuring that orders are accurately picked, the quality of items is maintained at 100%, and that the trailers are loaded correctly to prevent any potential damage during transport. This position will have decision making responsibilities with staff.
Responsibilities:

• Oversees quality team members manage the work flow, quality and quantity of work to maximize efficiency while minimizing overtime.
• Ensure customers orders are fulfilled per quality guidelines inspections of products prior to being loaded for delivery. Taking action to correct any issues.
• Ensure products meet the highest standard of quality and meeting customer expectations
• Oversees quality team members manage the work flow, quality and quantity of work to maximize efficiency while minimizing overtime.
• Supervisor daily activities within the warehouse as needed
• Work with retail partners when necessary on quality issues
• Scan and read barcodes using remote scan guns.
• Breakout furniture utilizing a razor knife that contains a safety blade.
• Wipe down all items using a cloth.
• Touch-up all items using appropriate paint or markers.
• Inspect product for quality and order accuracy to prepare for delivery vehicle loading.
• Touch-up furniture with markers, wax pencils and paint to ensure a satisfied customer the first time.
• Keep the work area well organized for safety and efficiency.
• Work with aerosol paint products as needed.
• Full Time, Monday - Friday. Hours 10am to 7pm (Overtime as needed)
• Pay range starts at $18/19 per hour plus incentive pay based on first time delivery
  Physical Demands
  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to use their arms, hands and fingers to handle, grasp, reach, pull, push etc. the employee frequently is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and push. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. -The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and frequently lift -and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision (including shades), peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Position frequently requires use of products with strong odors.Color matching is required for this role as product color is inspected
