Job Description:

Position: Forklift OperatorShift: 6a-2:30pmLocation: St. Petersburg, FL Key Responsibilities:Forklift Operation:Operate forklifts to load and unload trucks, move goods to designated storage areas, and retrieve products for shipping.Inspect and maintain forklift equipment to ensure operational safety.Ensure accurate placement and retrieval of inventory within the warehouse.Warehouse Management:Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.Organize and maintain the warehouse layout to ensure efficient storage and easy access to inventory.Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor.Shipping and Receiving:Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling products according to company standards.Coordinate with the shipping department to ensure timely and accurate dispatch of goods.Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities, including receiving, shipping, and inventory management.Safety and Compliance:Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
