Job Responsibilities



--- Owning your cases with help and guidance
--- Thinking ahead and preparing in advance
--- Communicating often and effectively with clients
--- Conduct research and write pleadings, briefs, and motions
--- Argue hearings and conduct depositions
--- Handling all phases of discovery
--- Negotiating settlements, informally or in mediation
--- Supporting and collaborating with fellow attorneys
--- Working closely with and providing leadership to paralegals and other administrative staff who support you


Qualifications

--- Florida Bar member with 3+ years of experience, including active litigation work
--- Background in litigation, including motions, depositions, and mediations
--- 3+ years handling Property Insurance cases, on either plaintiff or defense side
--- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; you'll speak with clients and opposing counsel often
--- Able to manage a full caseload independently and stay organized
--- Familiar with Microsoft Office and legal research tools like Westlaw
--- You're professional, respectful, and comfortable with collegial relationships-even across the aisle
--- Trial experience is a plus, but not required
--- You're competitive, driven to win, and committed to constant improvement
--- You want to help build and grow a great law firm
